Search for orcas and humpbacks in Tromso before travelling to the world’s northerly town, Longyearbyen.  Experience the incredible polar night period, where the sun remains more than six degrees below the horizon. It’s a time when the incredible northern lights can be seen day or night and exhilarating winter activities take place under the stars and the glistening moonlight.

Day 1 | Arrive in Tromsø & Cable Car Visit

Arrive in Norway's lively Arctic hub, Tromsø. Fjellheisen cable car, also known as the Tromsø Cable Car, is a popular tourist attraction located in Tromsø, Norway. Enjoy a visit and stunning panoramic views of the city, surrounding mountains, and the Arctic landscape.

Day 2 | Silent Whale Watching

Today board the Brim Explorer for a whale-watching tour. From November to January Orcas and Humpbacks can be spotted in the fjords surrounding the city. This luxury vessel is an innovative and environmentally friendly electric catamaran. The catamaran is powered by electricity, producing no emissions or noise pollution, ensuring a non-intrusive experience for marine animals.

Day 3 | Arrive in Longyearbyen

Fly to Svalbard. On arrival transfer to a hotel in Longyearbyen and check in for a four-night stay. Perhaps take a stroll around the town before dining in the evening. We can recommend and book a wonderful restaurant for dinner this evening.

Day 4 | Northern Lights Dog Sledding & Aurora Evening

Northern lights season is a particularly atmospheric time of year, and dog sledding under starry skies and dancing aurora is an experience not to be missed. Mush your own team of dogs under the polar night. Travel across icy plains and past towering mountains on this unique and special experience. Enjoy a hot drink and a snack in a log cabin before returning to your hotel. Later in the evening search for the northern lights at remote Camp Barentz. During this all-inclusive evening, you will enjoy a fascinating presentation and a hearty dinner.

Day 5 | Electric Snowmobile Safari

Embark on a thrilling silent snowmobile journey through the wilderness, lit only by the polar night. The environment is home to Arctic wildlife including reindeer and polar foxes so keep a look out as your dash across the snowy landscape.

Day 6 | Sightseeing & Northern Lights Snowcat Safari

Discover Longyearbyen today. Visit the fascinating Svalbard Museum, which has displays on the discovery of Spitsbergen as well as the wildlife, mining and hunting history of the archipelago. Later embark on a snowcat safari in search of the magical aurora. Drive into the darkness through the frozen Advent Valley and admire the views back towards the flickering lights of Longyearbyen. Your knowledgeable guide will explain how the aurora is formed as you search for the colorful ribbons flickering overhead.

Day 7 | Departure Day

After breakfast, transfer back to Longyearbyen airport for your return travel plans.
