Day 1 | Arrive in Iceland

Arrive in Iceland and collect your hire car. Located only 20 minutes drive from Keflavík airport, the Blue Lagoon is one of Iceland’s top attractions. Stop here for a soak in the geothermal waters. Continue to the ION Adventure Hotel and check in for a one night stay.

Day 2 | The Golden Circle

Enjoy a full day tour exploring the sights of the famous Golden Circle route. Discover Thingvellir National Park, see mighty Gullfoss waterfall and witness Strokkur Geysir erupt 20 metres into the sky. Venture to the town of Fludir and take a dip in the Secret Lagoon before transferring to Torfhus.

Day 3 | Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon

Continue to Jökulsárlón, stopping to admire Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls enroute. In the afternoon, sail among the icebergs in the picturesque scenery on boat trip before driving to Foss Hotel Glacial Lagoon for an overnight stay.

Day 4 | Katla Volcano & Mýrdalsjökull Glacier

Make your way back along Route 1 to Vík. Join an afternoon tour to the Katla volcano and Mýrdalsjökull glacier to visit some of Iceland’s most impressive natural ice caves. Take a stroll along the black-sand lava beach at Reynisfjara and enjoy a great view from Cape Dyrholaey. Continue to Skálakot Manor Hotel where you will stay for your final night in Iceland.

Day 5 | Departure Day

After breakfast, check out and visit some of the sights of the Reykjanes Peninsula such as Krýsuvík geothermal area, Gunnuhver hot spring and Reykjanestá bird cliffs. Return the car to Keflavík airport and continue with your onward travel plans.
