Built in 1910 during the art nouveau era, Arsenalsgatan 6, now home to Bank Hotel, began as the Södra Sverige Banking company's headquarters. Architect Thor Thorén ingeniously fused art-deco opulence with traditional bank aesthetics.

Over the years, the building has transformed into homes for various banks, an exhibition hall, and a legal library. The building's history is still evident, with features like the huge bronze double doors. Yet, modern touches harmoniously preserve and present its original beauty, like the breathtaking glass ceiling in Bonnie's restaurant, which floods the space with light.
