Perched on the water's edge in the wild district of Voss, Elva Hotel is an architectural masterpiece combining dynamic design with the breathtaking outdoors. Brand new to 2023, the hotel opened its doors in June, with an emphasis on welcoming guests into a peaceful space amongst the west coast’s natural tranquillity.

Each uniquely shaped building is named after one of the rivers that wind around Voss, with every room named after a waterfall dotted along the flowing waters. Strandaelva is the main building where four rooms, a café, bar, hot tubs, sauna and the restaurant sit over Lunda Lake.

Nestled beside Strandaelva is Tvinnefossen, named after one of the most mighty waterfalls in Voss. Myrkdalselva, Raundalselva, Vosso and Teigdalselva follow the waters edge with two to three rooms in each. Every room is home to a double bed and large window looking out at the lake and thick forests beyond, with some offering a mezzanine level for extra beds.

Encouraging guests to rediscover their adventurous spirit, Elva Hotel is perfectly located for those eager to take part in the wilderness activities that Voss is well known for. The outdoor activity base beside the hotel offers intrepid excursions, from white water rafting to ziplining.
