Day 1 | Arrive in Arctic Sweden

Arrive at Luleå Airport and transfer to Arctic Retreat. Perched above the serene Råne River, the retreat comprises three traditional log cabins, a timber restaurant, a lounge cabin, and a sauna cabin. Immerse yourself in nature, local flora, fauna, and an array of activities. After settling in, take perhaps enjoy a wild swim in the river, followed by a sauna and a dip in the hot tub. The day concludes with a delightful dinner in the cosy log restaurant.

Day 2 | Canoeing on the Rane River

Start the day with a hearty breakfast before embarking on a guided canoeing excursion led by a local guide. Immere yourself in the serene beauty of the river. Look out for local wildlife, such as birds, moose, beavers, and even reindeer, as you glide along peacefully. Your guide will point out scenic spots amidst the stunning natural surroundings. Enjoy a light outdoor lunch and return to Arctic Retreat to relax for the afternoon.

Day 3 | Hiking & Flavours of the 8 Seasons

After breakfast, join a guided hike through the serene Taiga Forest surrounding Arctic Retreat. The hike will be tailored to your fitness level, offering glimpses of lush forests and stunning viewpoints. Capture the beauty on camera and stop for a light outdoor lunch. Back at the retreat, meet Eva Gunnare from 'Essence of Lapland' to learn about local culture and cuisine. Discover how wild ingredients are used across Lapland's eight seasons, setting the stage for a flavourful dinner at the log restaurant.

Day 4 | Independent Adventures

Start your day with a leisurely breakfast at the log restaurant. Today, venture into the pristine wilderness surrounding Arctic Retreat at your own pace. Guides will provide insights on using bikes, canoes, and fishing gear, along with tips on hiking trails and picnic spots. This day includes half-day access to fat or gravel bikes, half-day canoeing, and fishing equipment. Enjoy a picnic, a refreshing swim, and return to Arctic Retreat for a sauna or hot-tub session before dinner.

Day 5 | Departure Day

Enjoy a lazy breakfast in the log restaurant before your transfer to Luleå Airport for your return flights home.
