From windy lighthouse walks and beautiful beaches to history and heritage - we've even included a trip to sample gin at the Isle of Harris Distillery. At the end of adventurous days, return to your fully heated Hebridean hut where you can relax, and enjoy panoramic views of the rugged Lewis coastline.

Day 1 | Arrive in Stornoway

Arrive in Stornoway and collect your hire car. The island capital of Stornoway has a lovely selection of cafés, perfect for a lunch stop. A short walk from the centre you can find a beautiful woodland and the landscaped grounds of Lewis Castle. Take a stroll around the estate before heading to check in to your Hebridean Hut for a four night stay.

Day 2 | Butt of Lewis & Eilean Glas

One of the island's best (and windiest!) walks is to the Butt of Lewis lighthouse. The 3.5 mile circuit is an absolute must for keen walkers. Another fantastic lighthouse stroll is a 2 mile hike along a gravel track on the island of Scalpay to the picture perfect Eilean Glas lighthouse.

Day 3 | Historic sights

Start the day at Gearrannan Blackhouse Village, a coastal crofting village retracing the lives of the highlanders that once inhabited it. A site of great archaeological interest, visit the Callanish Standing Stones next to discover more about the history of the Isle of Lewis.

Day 4 | Harris Beaches

Relax at the Luskentyre Beach on the Isle of Harris, a Caribbean dream boasting crystal blue seas and a white sand bay. On the way back, stop off at the Isle of Harris Distillery for a guided tour.

Day 5 | Departure Day

Depending on the time of your flight or ferry back to the mainland, enjoy a bite to eat at the Blue Lobster in Stornoway before returning the car and travelling back to the mainland.
