Day 2 | Explore Oslo

Oslo is continuing to have something of a renaissance with the neighbourhood of Tjuvholmen and Oslo's Opera House injecting an edgy and contemporary energy into the city. Contrasting nicely are some of the city's most well-loved cultural attractions including Vigeland Sculpture Park and the Munch museum, for a close up with 'The Scream'. On Bygdøy peninsula you will also find Fram Museum and the Kon-Tiki Museum with Aker Brygge, the old harbour, being a great place to stroll or perhaps join a lunch cruise out onto the Oslofjord.

Day 3 | Bergen Line & Flåm Mountain Railway

Enjoy a spectacular day on the Bergen Line and Flåm Mountain railways. Bergen Line is Northern Europe's highest stretch of railway, and crosses both the Langfjellene mountains and the Hardangervidda mountain plateau. The 20 kms long, Flåm Mountain Railway then descends via a serpentine track from mountain to fjord; the track took 20 years to build and is one of the steepest standard gauge railway lines in the world. See rivers, deep ravines, cascading waterfalls, snow-capped mountains, and remote mountain farms. Transfer to your boutique hotel - a former fishing lodge - for the next three nights.
