Day 1 | Arrive in Tromsø

Arrive in Norway's northernmost hub of Tromsø, a surprisingly lively place. The setting is glorious, on an island surrounded by mountains, and the city is home to several "world’s most northerly” descriptions – botanic gardens, cathedral, university, brewery... and traffic lights! Transfer to your city centre hotel for a three-night stay. After dinner, relax and take a short stroll in the city to the Arctic Cathedral.

Day 2 |Tromsø by E-Bike & Midnight Sun Safari

Enjoy a guided tour of Tromsø by e-bike. Along the way you will visit Bukta beach, Prestvannet lake and nature reserve, the Arctic-Alpine Botanical Garden and - of course - highlights of the city centre. A great way to familiarise yourself with Tromsøya island and a few of the city's lesser-known, 'off the beaten track' locations. During the evening sit back and relax during a scenic boat trip by catamaran. Keep your eyes peeled for birdlife and admire the Midnight Sun as its golden rays bathe the landscape.

Spend a full day exploring Tromsø. Perhaps start with coffee and cake in a cosy café while soaking up local life. Visit Polaria, a fascinating Arctic-themed museum, before taking the Fjellheisen cable car for breathtaking city views from Mount Storsteinen. Nearby, explore the iconic Arctic Cathedral, known for its striking architecture and stunning glass mosaic. Wander Tromsø’s lively centre, filled with shops, restaurants, and Norwegian charm. During the evening why not let us pre-book dinner for you in one of the city's most iconic restaurants?

As you leave the city, you'll pass snow-capped mountains, deep fjords, and picturesque villages. A short ferry crossing over Ullsfjord offers breathtaking views before continuing through the dramatic Lyngen Alps. The landscape becomes wilder and more remote, heightening the sense of adventure. After approximately 2½ hours, you arrive at the tranquil Lyngen Experience Lodge, nestled between majestic peaks and the serene fjord.
