Reykjavík is jam-packed with quaint shops, quirky cafes, trendy bars and interesting museums. Just a short drive from this bustling capital, some of the country's most spectacular scenery can be found. Take to the waters in search of humpback and minke whales, head out into the wilderness after dark to hunt for the Aurora and take time to soothe body and mind in the geothermal waters of Iceland's famous Blue Lagoon.

 

Itinerary

Day 1 | Arrive in Reykjavík

Arrive in Iceland and transfer to your hotel in the country's compact capital, Reykjavík. Why not head out for dinner in the evening? We can book you a table at a wonderful restaurant in the city.

Day 2 | City Sightseeing & Northern Lights

From quirky cafes and that famous hot dog stand to museums and the bustling harbour, Reykjavik is easy to explore on foot. Visit the glistening Harpa concert hall and wander around the picturesque Reykjavik City Pond, locally known as Tjörnin. Later in the evening, travel away from the city and deep into the Icelandic countryside on a thrilling Superjeep adventure in search of the magical northern lights.

Day 3 | Whale Watching

Humpbacks, minke whales and white-beaked dolphins are found in the waters around Reykjavík. Today, board a luxury yacht and head out to go in search of these marine creatures. Return to the city for dinner after a day of exploration.

Day 4 | Blue Lagoon

Spend a leisurely morning in the capital before being collected by minibus and taken to enjoy a soak in the iconic bright blue waters of Iceland's famous Blue Lagoon. Designed to soothe and restore, unwind and enjoy some quiet contemplation whilst bathing in the mineral-rich water known for its skin-repairing properties. Return to the city in time to dine out on your final night in Iceland.

Day 5 | Departure Day

Transfer back to the airport for your departure flight.
