Day 1 | Arrive in the Faroe Islands

Collect your rental car from the airport and make your way to the capital, Tórshavn for a two-night stay. Sample craft beer at Mikkeller, located in a four-hundred-year-old wooden house in the city, and let us book you a table for dinner at a fabulous restaurant.

Day 2 | Zipline Experience & Afternoon Fishing Trip

Soar over the stunning landscapes of the Faroe Islands and admire a bird's-eye view of the crystal-clear waters below on an exhilarating zipline tour, perfect for adventurous travellers. Later, set sail on a fishing charter around Nólsoy, a charming island close to Tórshavn. Enjoy stunning coastal scenery while trying your hand at sea fishing. With an experienced guide, explore hidden coves, learn about the island's maritime history, and experience the archipelago from a unique and unforgettable perspective.

Day 3 | Cycling & Kayaking on Sandoy

Explore the island of Sandoy on two wheels on a guided or self-guided cycling tour. Winding roads lead along dramatic cliffs, serene fjords, and charming villages. Whether you're an experienced cyclist or a leisurely rider, this is the ultimate way to immerse yourself in the islands' breathtaking landscapes and rugged beauty. Optional kayaking trip is also possible.

Day 4 | Hiking on the Northern Islands

Hike through some of the most dramatic and rugged landscapes in the archipelago, where towering cliffs, lush valleys, and awe-inspiring vistas await at every turn. With trails suited for all levels, each step promises an unforgettable connection to nature. Opt to hike from Klaksvík to Klakkur peak, a panoramic vantage point offering sweeping views of the archipelago, or head to Villingardalsfjall’s peak and onwards to Enniberg, Europe’s tallest sea cliff at 754 meters, where sheer drops meet the roaring Atlantic below. Day trips by ferry to Kalsoy are where trails leading to the Kallur Lighthouse can be found.

Day 5 | Hiking on Eysturoy

Epic hikes abound on this easterly island. Choose to embark on an exhilarating hike to the summit of Slættaratindur, the highest mountain in the Faroe Islands, or trek to the Hvíthamar ridge for amazing views of Funningsfjørður. Whether you decide to conquer the iconic peak or take to alternate trails, you will be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of rugged landscapes and coastal beauty.

Day 6 | Surfing & Sauna in Tjørnuvík

Experience the thrill of surfing or stand-up paddleboarding in Tjornuvik Bay, where dramatic cliffs, mystifying sea caves, and pristine waters offer the perfect backdrop for an exhilarating adventure. Join local guides who have experience surfing the cold North Atlantic Ocean. Thaw out in the beachfront hot tub and sauna before lunch in the surf shack.

Day 7 | Hiking on Puffin Island

Join a local guide, on a captivating day trip to Mykines, the most western island of the archipelago. Discover dramatic cliffs, and vibrant seabird colonies, including millions of nesting puffins who return each year to raise their young. Return to Vágar and take a short hike around stunning Sørvágsvatn, the largest lake in the Faroe Islands, and witness breathtaking views of its scenic surroundings and illusionary existence.

Return your car to the airport and continue with your departure plans.

  • Two nights at Hotel Brandan in Tórshavn based on a superior double/twin room including daily buffet breakfast.
  • One night at Molin Guesthouse on Sandoy based on a standard double/twin room including dinner on arrival nights and buffet breakfast.
  • Two nights at Gjáargarður Guesthouse on Gjógv based on a superior room including daily buffet breakfast and table reservations for dinner each evening.
  • Two nights at Hotel Vágar on Vágar based on a standard double/twin room including daily buffet breakfast.
  • Zip-lining experience across a majestic bay close to the capital. Includes zipline instructor, helmet,  and all necessary safety equipment. Duration 1 hour
  • Guided fishing trip from Tórshavn around the island of Nólsoy includes all fishing equipment and waterproof bodysuits, hot drinks and snacks. Duration 4 hours OR opt for a guided boat tour. Duration 2 hours.
  • Full-day cycle hire for self-exploration of the island of Sandoy includes road or mountain bike hire, helmet, lock and bike transportation. Option to updgrade to an e-bike, speak to us for details.
  • Surf lesson or SUP (stand up paddleboarding) in Tjørnuvík, includes local guide, surf equipment, wetsuit, lunch, 60-minute private hot tub and sauna session. Duration 4 hours.
  • Guided day trip to Mykines includes return ferry crossing, hiking fee, local guide and packed lunch. Duration 6 hours.
