Inspired by African bushcamps, Aurora Safari Camp is an off-the-grid gem that brings off-roading to new heights by offering the world’s first Arctic winter glampsite. Founded by a safari specialist, the camp is nestled alongside the Råne River and far from any urban light.

Guests are family at Aurora Safari Camp, from airport pickup to arranged dinners. Owners Fedrik and Jonas take care to make sure every element of their camp is up-to-date with heavy-duty heaters that keep their four tents toasty no matter the temperature. Tucked in the middle of a forest, the camp offers an unparalleled experience; reindeer tracks can often be seen just outside your doorway, where you’re only steps away from some of the country’s best stargazing spots.

Perfect for both couples and families, the tents can collectively accommodate up to 14 people, as can the owners in their culinary pursuits; meals are a celebrated part of a stay at Aurora Safari Camp, each one cooked personally by Fedrik and Jonas and served around a roaring campfire.
